Full Stack Developer (PHP, Symfony, React) Location: Fully Remote (EU) Contract: 6 Months (Potential Extension) - Long term Start Date: ASAP Engagement: Freelance / Contract About the Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a technology-driven organisation on an initial 6-month freelance contract. You will work on the development and enhancement of internal business applications, helping to streamline data flows, automate processes and improve operational efficiency. This is a hands-on development role offering the opportunity to contribute to technical decisions, work with modern technologies and collaborate with an international engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain applications using PHP, Symfony, React and TypeScript. Build and enhance backend services, APIs and database integrations. Develop solutions that automate business processes and improve data management. Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver reliable software solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement. Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding solutions where appropriate. Essential Requirements Strong commercial development experience with PHP and Symfony . Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript . Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Experience developing and integrating APIs. Understanding of software testing, clean coding practices and Agile development. Ability to work independently within a fully remote team. Relevant right to work in the EU and ability to operate as a freelancer/ contractor. Desirable Skills Docker and CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitLab). AWS cloud services and Terraform. Microservices architecture. Automated testing, including unit and integration testing. Experience with Go. Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Cursor or other AI development tools. Interested?
