Job Description: GenAI Developer Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced GenAI Developer to build and maintain a production-grade healthcare conversational AI platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, Google ADK 2.0, multi-agent orchestration, and LLM integration, along with hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services. The role involves developing scalable backend APIs, implementing RAG pipelines, building secure AI-powered healthcare workflows, and ensuring reliable, safe, and compliant conversational experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using Python 3.12+ and FastAPI. Build and manage multi-agent AI workflows using Google ADK 2.0. Integrate LLM providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. Implement RAG, prompt engineering, structured outputs, and AI guardrails. Work with LangGraph, LangChain, and PydanticAI for AI orchestration and workflow integration. Develop healthcare task workflows for medication management, care coordination, and appointment scheduling. Integrate Azure services, including Cosmos DB, Key Vault, App Configuration, Event Hubs, and Application Insights. Implement secure API authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, and industry best practices. Protect sensitive healthcare data and follow applicable privacy and security requirements. Develop automated tests using pytest and support CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments. Monitor production applications, troubleshoot issues, improve observability, and participate in incident response. Collaborate with Agile teams on architecture, code reviews, and continuous improvement. Mandatory Skills 7+ years of professional software development experience. Strong hands-on experience with Python 3.12+ and FastAPI or similar asynchronous frameworks. Production experience with Google ADK 2.0 for multi-agent orchestration and structured LLM outputs. Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google LLM integrations. Strong knowledge of RAG, prompt engineering, structured output validation, and AI safety guardrails. Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, and PydanticAI. Practical experience with Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Key Vault, and App Configuration. Experience with event-driven architecture and workflow orchestration. Strong understanding of JWT, OAuth, API security, and secure data handling. Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and production deployments. Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills. Good-to-Have Skills Healthcare domain experience, including HIPAA, HL7/FHIR, or Epic integrations. Experience with PydanticAI and schema-based output validation. Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and application monitoring tools. Exposure to React and TypeScript for occasional frontend development. Experience building patient-facing conversational AI applications.
