Global Sector Head (Healthcare)
As Sector Head, you will manage a team of analysts globally, oversee the production of high-quality research, and serve as a key thought leader for clients. This role requires deep Healthcare sector expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering differentiated investment insights.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership- Lead and mentor a team of equity research analysts focused on the Healthcare sector
- Set coverage priorities and ensure consistent, high-quality output across the team
- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven research culture
- Work with Analysts on professional development and monitor KPIs
- Represent CFRA’s fundamental voice on the Healthcare sector. Articulate a clear and concise investment thesis for a preferred top-down view, supported with the data that combines key fundamental insights in an expectations framework
- Monitor all reporting for the Healthcare sector to ensure research is delivered by internal and external deadlines
- Guide the development of financial models, valuation analyses, and investment theses
- Review industry reports, company notes, and thematic pieces and ensure quality and timeliness of delivery
- Ensure compliance with internal standards
- Provide timely and actionable insights to clients
- Build and maintain relationships with company management teams and industry stakeholders
- Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities within the Healthcare sector
- Collaborate with senior leadership, strategy and technical research to align research thesis and overall strategy
- Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and cross-sector collaboration
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 7+ years of equity research experience, with significant exposure to the Healthcare sector
- Experience mentoring or developing junior analysts
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven leadership experience managing analyst teams is ideal
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA designation preferred
- High ethical standards and commitment to research integrity

Requires 7+ years of equity research experience with significant Healthcare exposure, leadership and analyst mentoring experience, strong financial modeling, communication skills, and preferably an advanced Finance or Economics degree and CFA.
