Role Description The Head of Quality Control is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality standards for Valuence-AI’s real estate valuation products and data pipelines. This role manages quality control processes across models, datasets, and software releases, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and regulatory alignment. Day-to-day tasks include developing and refining quality frameworks, reviewing test plans and quality metrics, leading root-cause analyses for defects, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with engineering, data science, and product teams. The Head of Quality Control will mentor and direct a distributed quality team, establish documentation and reporting practices, and collaborate with leadership to align quality goals with business and customer objectives.

Qualifications

Strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, including designing and executing robust QC/QA processes for data-driven products. Proficiency in Quality Management, with experience setting standards, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives across teams. Advanced Analytical Skills, including data analysis, trend identification, and use of metrics to evaluate product performance and risks. Relevant Laboratory Skills or structured testing experience, such as developing protocols, documenting procedures, and validating results in controlled environments. Experience leading quality functions in technology, data, or AI-focused organizations; familiarity with real estate or financial services is an advantage. Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate complex quality issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations related to data quality, model governance, or risk management is beneficial. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Data Science, Quality Management, or related discipline), or equivalent practical experience.
