Role Description The Head of User Experience is a full-time, remote role responsible for defining and leading the overall UX vision for SG | Exocad Certified Training Center’s digital products, training platforms, and learning materials. This role oversees end-to-end experience design, from discovery to delivery, ensuring that interfaces, content, and workflows are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with the needs of dental professionals. Day-to-day tasks include conducting and synthesizing user research, collaborating with product, training, and engineering teams, and guiding UX strategy for web and mobile applications. The Head of User Experience will create and refine user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs, while establishing UX standards, design systems, and best practices across the organization. The role also involves mentoring designers, advocating for user-centered decision-making, and continuously measuring and improving user satisfaction and engagement.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Design Thinking and Human-Computer Interaction, with the ability to apply user-centered methodologies to complex workflows. Proficiency in User Research, including planning studies, conducting interviews and usability tests, and translating insights into actionable design improvements. Experience designing and optimizing Mobile Applications, with a focus on responsive interfaces, accessibility, and performance. Advanced Visual Design skills, including layout, typography, color, and component design, supported by expertise in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD). Demonstrated experience leading UX strategy for digital products or platforms, preferably in education, healthcare, or specialized professional software. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate design decisions clearly, and build consensus around UX best practices. Experience managing or mentoring UX designers and contributing to design systems or pattern libraries. Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Comfort working remotely, with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders. Familiarity with dental CAD software, digital dentistry, or technical training environments is an advantage.
