Role Description The HR Manager at Curriculum Vitae will oversee day-to-day human resources operations in a part-time, remote capacity. The role will also involve supporting employee relations, addressing HR-related inquiries, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies. The HR Manager will collaborate with leadership to refine HR procedures, support training and development initiatives, and contribute to a positive, inclusive work culture. This position requires regular virtual meetings, timely communication, and effective coordination with distributed team members.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance standards, and best practices in people operations. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment. Proficiency with HRIS or HR-related software, and comfort using digital tools for collaboration and documentation. Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain organized records while working independently on a part-time schedule. Experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and fostering respectful, non-discriminatory workplace practices. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Previous HR management or senior HR generalist experience is strongly preferred; HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
