Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an HR Manager at JF Profesor. The HR Manager will oversee day-to-day HR operations, including managing employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, changes in employment status, and offboarding. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate HR records, supporting policy implementation, and ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and company guidelines. The role involves providing guidance to managers and team members on HR-related matters, resolving employee concerns, and promoting an inclusive, engaging work environment. The HR Manager will also support performance management activities, assist with workforce planning, and collaborate with leadership on HR initiatives and process improvements suited to a remote, part-time setting.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as employee relations, performance management, and HR operations. Knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR policies in a remote work environment. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across distributed teams. Proficiency with HRIS tools, digital collaboration platforms, and basic data reporting for HR metrics. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively in a part-time capacity, and work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar role; experience in remote or hybrid organizations is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
