Overview

As an Independent Insurance Agent, you’ll help individuals and businesses understand their coverage options and choose policies that fit their needs. You’ll build lasting client relationships through responsive customer service, clear communication, and thoughtful follow-up. This role combines insurance sales, outside sales, and client support, with opportunities to serve clients across health, life, property and casualty, and commercial insurance. Duties Identify prospective clients through networking, marketing, retail sales, and telemarketing; conduct outreach and follow up on leads. Assess client needs, explain policy options, prepare proposals, and negotiate terms with insurers. Support clients with applications, renewals, claims questions, benefits administration, and ongoing policy service. Maintain accurate records in a customer relationship management (CRM) system and complete sales administration using Microsoft Office. Requirements

Strong sales, customer service, communication, client communication, customer relationship building, negotiation, and analysis skills. Knowledge of insurance sales and applicable insurance regulation; familiarity with property and casualty, health, life, and commercial insurance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems; able to manage sales administration and client follow-up. Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
