Company: PIA Select Insurance Solutions Job Type: Independent Contractor Work Setting: Remote Available States: CA, NV, OR, ID, WA & AZ Compensation: Commission Only About the Role: PIA Select Insurance Solutions is seeking an experienced, licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Producer to generate new business, advise clients, and manage insurance accounts. This is a remote, commission-only independent contractor position for an established insurance professional with experience developing and maintaining a book of business. Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities Contact prospective clients and conduct insurance needs assessments Prepare, present, and explain insurance proposals Quote, place, and bind Personal Lines and Commercial Lines coverage Maintain ongoing relationships with clients and referral sources Coordinate with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal teams Maintain accurate client, application, and policy records Provide timely follow-up throughout the sales and policy process Comply with applicable state insurance laws, carrier requirements, and company procedures Qualifications: Active Property & Casualty insurance license Existing book of business Experience selling Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, or both Commercial Lines experience Multi-state licensing Active Life & Health license Demonstrated ability to generate and close new business Strong communication, organization, and relationship-management skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Compensation: This is a commission-only independent contractor position. There is no base salary or guaranteed compensation. Earnings depend on production, policy placement, and the applicable producer agreement. PIA Select offers the following compensation arrangements: Producer-Managed Accounts 75% commission on new business 75% commission on renewal business The producer is responsible for ongoing client and policy servicing Brokerage-Supported Accounts 75% commission on new business 50% commission on renewal business PIA Select provides ongoing back-office policy support after the policy is bound and payment is collected Commission terms may vary based on the account, carrier, policy type, and responsibilities assigned under the applicable producer agreement.
