Join CVS and help us attract the people who make a difference every day

At CVS, our purpose is simple: to provide compassionate care, value and service for every person, every animal, every time.

Behind every great veterinary practice is a fantastic team. We're looking for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys building strong relationships, delivering outstanding candidate experiences, and making a real impact on hiring outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive Talent Acquisition team and take ownership of recruiting for some of our most business critical non-clinical roles across the UK.

As an Internal Recruiter, you'll manage high-volume recruitment campaigns across a range of non-clinical positions, including:

  • Receptionists
  • Veterinary Care Assistants
  • Veterinary Interns
  • Other volume roles

Working closely with Hiring Managers across the business, you'll take vacancies from advertising through to offer, ensuring an efficient, engaging and professional recruitment journey for both candidates and stakeholders.

Your role will include

  • Managing multiple vacancies and recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
  • Screening and shortlisting candidates.
  • Coaching Hiring Managers on best-practice recruitment processes.
  • Creating engaging job adverts and attraction strategies.
  • Delivering an outstanding candidate experience at every stage.
  • Using recruitment data and insights to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Supporting internal career moves, promotions and talent development opportunities.
  • Building strong partnerships with hiring managers and stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • Managing multiple vacancies while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Building strong relationships with Hiring Managers and candidates.
  • Using ATS and recruitment systems to effectively manage processes.

You'll also be

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise competing demands.
  • A confident communicator who can influence and advise stakeholders.
  • Customer focused with a passion for candidate experience.
  • Proactive, resilient and motivated by achieving results.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing ideas and supporting colleagues.

Why join CVS?

This is more than a recruitment role. It's an opportunity to influence how we attract great people into a growing organisation where your expertise and ideas will genuinely make a difference.
