Investment Analyst / Associate

Remote · Colombia Full-time

This is the first hire onto our investment team. Not the first analyst on a team of twelve — the first. You will sit next to the founder across a nine-figure fund we actively manage, and help build the platform that comes next, including subsequent co-founded vehicles. There is no staffing pool, no deal team layer, no rotation, and no one else to hand the unglamorous work to. That last part is the honest version of the pitch. In the same week you may build the model, write the memo, turn a due diligence questionnaire around for an investor, sit in a portfolio company's operating review, help that company get a financing across the line, and rebuild a reporting template because the current one doesn't scale. We are looking for a builder — someone who reads that as opportunity rather than as overhead, who wants ownership of a franchise as it scales, and who is comfortable being generalist by necessity before becoming specialist by choice. If you want a defined lane and a finished playbook, this is the wrong seat. If you want to help write the playbook, keep reading. About reputed company VCG is a private reputed company management and strategic advisory firm working at the intersection of entrepreneurship, operations, and institutional reputed company. We partner with private equity sponsors, family offices, and founder-led businesses on operating execution, transaction readiness, reputed company structure strategy, and portfolio optimization. The firm pairs senior-level advisory engagements with an active investment management platform. That platform is formed and operating today, with additional co-founded vehicles in the pipeline. Our perspective is shaped by global institutional investment platforms and hands-on operating leadership, including board-level roles. Location and Travel You do not need to live in Miami. We care about output and responsiveness, not a badge swipe. You do need to be U.S.-based, and you should expect to travel 0–10 days per month — to Miami, to portfolio companies, and to client and counterparty meetings. It will be uneven and will cluster around live processes. This is a high-touch seat by design.
