The IT Support Specialist will assist users with basic technical issues, help maintain smooth day-to-day technology operations, and provide professional, timely support in a remote work environment.Key Responsibilities Provide basic technical support to employees and users through email, phone, chat, or other communication channels. Troubleshoot common computer, software, internet connectivity, and login issues. Assist users with password resets, account access, and basic system navigation. Help install, configure, and update software and applications as needed. Document technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT personnel when necessary. Assist with basic hardware and peripheral troubleshooting, including printers, monitors, and other computer accessories. Maintain clear, professional communication with users and team members. Follow established IT procedures, security guidelines, and data privacy practices. Participate in training and continue developing technical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic computer skills and familiarity with common software applications. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn new technologies and follow technical instructions. Reliable internet connection and a suitable home workspace. Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
