Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an IT Support Civil Servant (Entry / Junior Level) at ElSiwa – LC Waikiki. The role involves providing first-level technical support to internal users, responding to service requests, and troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues. The IT Support Civil Servant will coordinate with relevant public sector and local government contacts when needed, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures. Daily activities include documenting incidents, maintaining accurate records, escalating complex issues, and communicating clearly with stakeholders. The role also supports the implementation of IT guidelines in line with organizational and governmental standards.

Qualifications

Public sector and local government skills: candidates should possess knowledge of Local Government operations and Public Sector processes. Government relations and communication skills: candidates should possess experience or interest in Government Relations and strong Communication abilities. Analytical and problem-solving skills: candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for diagnosing technical issues and assessing user needs. Basic IT support capabilities: familiarity with common operating systems, office applications, and remote support tools. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and follow established procedures. Strong customer service mindset and respectful, clear communication with diverse stakeholders. Relevant education in IT, public administration, or a related field is preferred; entry-level certifications in IT support are an advantage.
