Job Title: Java Developer Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Experience: 7+ Years Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong Java development skills, experience with Spring Boot and microservices, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot. Work with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Use Git and CI/CD tools to manage code and support deployments. Required Skills: Strong experience with Core Java, Java 8+, and object-oriented programming. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA. Experience developing REST APIs and microservices. Knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Experience with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle. Familiarity with JUnit, Mockito, and unit testing. Understanding of Agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies. Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
