Providing thought leadership and defining strategy on developer productivity. Partner with Platform teams and with engineering teams to drive adoption of CI/CD tools and processes. Establish and align clear measurable goals to reduce incidents, drive accountability and overall operational excellence. Championing Engineering and Operational excellence goals for the org, align with broader org to bring learnings and best practices to teams. Champion architecture initiatives to increase platform resiliency for complex business processes. Being single point of contact in driving cloud optimizations in partnership with SRE team. Being bold and taking calculated risks. Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry with hands on experience with public or private cloud offerings. What you’ll bring: 8+ years; experience in leading engineering teams, Engineering Excellence, and/or Developer Productivity initiatives. Azure migration experience. Well versed in architecture disciplines and executed in developing high performance, large scalable, and resilient enterprise systems. Proven track record of driving test automation to single click deployments. Java experience with SQL, NoSQL, Messaging, Queuing, and Caching. NoSQL, Messaging, Queuing, Caching. Strong experience with Networking concepts, Security, CDNs, Cloud Services. Experience with logging, monitoring, alerting best practices and tools such as Prometheus/Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk highly desirable.
