IDR is seeking a Functional Tester to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves testing end-to-end solutions for Java/web applications within the healthcare or government sector, including validating system functionalities and executing test scenarios to ensure quality releases. Position Overview for the Functional Tester: Conducts comprehensive testing of integrated eligibility systems, specializing in Java and web applications. Utilizes SQL to validate data and generate various test scenarios. Manages and reports on testing statuses through regular status meetings. Prepares QA deliverables such as test scenarios, review results, and release readiness documentation. Supports the successful delivery of system updates aligned with production releases. Requirements for the Functional Tester: Experience in testing end-to-end solutions for Java/web applications (preferably in integrated eligibility or state projects). Ability to utilize SQL for validation and testing purposes. Strong understanding of application testing methodologies and procedures. Excellent communication skills for status reporting and meetings.
