Our busy family law firm is growing, and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent clients well. The attorney will work remotely from home except when they are in trial. Office space is available when needed to meet clients in person. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners as well as administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve clients. If you have prior family law experience, excellent research and writing skills, can easily use today’s technology, and communicate effectively across all levels, we would love to connect! $120,000 starting base plus quarterly bonuses tied to collected billable hours, with earning potential of $150,000 to $175,000+ as your caseload grows. 1,560-hour billable target, fully remote outside of court. Benefits: Quarterly bonuses based on billable hours collected Fully remote work outside of court dates and hearings Flexible schedule, as long as you stay on pace with billing requirements Unlimited PTO and paid firm holidays State Bar dues and CLE expenses paid Firm laptop and Clio subscription Compensation: $120,000 Responsibilities: Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects Qualifications: Ability to use Microsoft Office is required Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required About Company Are you tired of the rigid structure and high billing demands of large law firms?
