Job Details: - Job Location: All States (Remote) - Salary Range: Undisclosed - Liberty Dental Plan is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Cloud & Application Development to lead the design, development, and support of modern enterprise applications. - This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development and requires a strong background in full-stack application development, cloud technologies, and production support. - The ideal candidate will be an experienced software engineering leader who can mentor developers, collaborate across business and technical teams, and drive the successful delivery of high-quality solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI, .NET technologies, and modern front-end frameworks. What You'll Do: - Technical Leadership - Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule. - Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and architectural recommendations to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions. - Application Development - Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET, and SQL Server. - Build and enhance responsive user interfaces using React or Angular (Angular 2+). - Develop and integrate APIs, services, and cloud-based solutions to support business objectives. - Translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans. - Cloud Development & AI Solutions - Design and develop cloud-native applications and services using Microsoft Azure. - Implement and support Azure OpenAI (Preferred) and AI-driven capabilities within enterprise applications. - Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security within cloud environments. - Collaborate on cloud architecture and application modernization initiatives. - Production Support & Operations - Support production applications and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues. - Monitor application health and performance to minimize downtime and improve user experience. - Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts. - Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and operational best practices.
