🚀 WE'RE HIRING: Logistics Coordinator IV (REMOTE) About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator IV / Lead Logistics Project Manager to support regional and global logistics operations for GE Vernova. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in international logistics, transportation management, supply chain operations, and project logistics. This role will focus on optimizing transportation costs, ensuring on-time delivery, managing shipment activities, and coordinating with vendors, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute inbound and outbound global logistics operations. Coordinate shipments with buyers, vendors, freight forwarders, and carriers. Manage project logistics plans, freight estimates, and shipment schedules. Develop cost-effective transportation strategies across ocean, air, and ground freight. Conduct RFQs and support logistics cost forecasting. Monitor shipment status, in-transit inventory, and delivery schedules. Manage import/export documentation, customs compliance, and shipment exceptions. Monitor demurrage and detention costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain logistics KPIs, reporting, and project lifecycle cost estimates. Resolve transportation issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college. 5+ years of experience in logistics, project management, or supply chain. Strong international logistics experience, including transportation and customs. Knowledge of international trade regulations, free trade agreements, and supply chain standards. Advanced English communication skills; additional languages are a plus. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Strong problem-solving, planning, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
