We're hiring a Mainframe Systems Programmer for a remote role. Work Authorization: Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2. Skills & Qualifications: Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship 4 years of IT experience, including varied programming experience Experience with Mainframe System technologies including Db2, z/OS, SYSVIEW, Broadcom products or other IBM mainframe-related products Strong analytical and logical thinking skills Comprehension of advanced data storage techniques, basic database philosophy, database management, and advanced programming techniques Understand the requirements for maintaining production systems and the effect of systems changes Key Responsibilities: Installation, maintenance, and optimization of IBM Db2 for z/OS on the mainframe platform Support critical business applications and enterprise database environments Db2 subsystem administration, performance tuning, upgrades and migrations Disaster recovery support, incident resolution, and data movement across environments Ensure the stability, availability, and efficiency of mission-critical systems Provide 24x7 production support through an on-call rotation Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other job-related field or 4 years of job-related work experience; OR 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mainframe System technologies, including experience with Db2, z/OS, and related IBM products. They should possess excellent analytical and logical thinking skills, with a solid understanding of database management, programming techniques, and quality assurance strategies. The candidate must be able to work onsite and be eligible to work on a W-2 basis. The hourly rate for this position is $55.95.
