Role Description: The Market Data Analyst is a low-medium seniority level full-time remote role responsible for coordinating and managing the onboarding of new client data and managing the ongoing support of clients and proactively analyzing market data usage and spend across financial services clients. The role involves gathering, loading, validating and reconciling contracts, invoices and user details using Sidelight's AI tools. You will collaborate with a small internal team to translate complex data into clear insights, dashboards, and reports, and contribute to product enhancements based on observed client patterns. Day-to-day tasks include data loading and validation, coordinating client queries and helping identify and present intelligence that help inform clients’ market data strategies. Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and data analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and identify trends. Candidates should possess good basic knowledge of market data and an understanding of how financial institutions consume data and related services. Candidates should possess effective communication skills to present insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Candidates should possess foundational understanding of Asset Management/Banking/Market Data including familiarity with financial products, vendors, and market data cost structures. Practical experience and competency using AI for analytical and day to day task optimisation is required and AI based coding experience an advantage. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, data science, or a related field would be beneficial but not essential as real-world work experience either as an intern or at entry-level relevant role is prefered Must be a Self-Starter who is willing to get involved, learn and take ownership of an important function in this fast moving company. Experience working in or with financial services firms, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment is essential.
