About the Company: Our client is a Salesforce consulting partner delivering Marketing Cloud, Data 360 (Data Cloud), and CRM implementations for organizations across industries. Their team includes Salesforce specialists and Data 360 architects working across multiple client engagements in a collaborative, remote-first environment. About the Role: We’re hiring a Marketing Cloud Specialist to support two Salesforce engagements: a Marketing Cloud and Data 360 alignment project for a multi-business-unit healthcare organization, and a Mailchimp-to-Marketing Cloud migration. This is a highly technical role focused on the architecture and re-architecture of journeys, data extensions, integrations, and customer data — not on basic email creation or campaign execution. The ideal candidate is hands-on, independent, and comfortable working in a production environment. What You’ll Do: Re-architect Marketing Cloud data and journeys to integrate with Data 360. Manage Subscriber Keys, data extensions, audience schemas, and suppression logic. Configure Marketing Cloud Connect for real-time and batch data synchronization. Build and update CloudPages, web forms, API handlers, and custom preference centers. Configure MobileConnect SMS workflows, including opt-in/opt-out processes. Build and implement a new Marketing Cloud child business unit for a migration project. Configure Marketing Cloud Connect with Sales Cloud and set up Automation Studio feeds. Work with the Data 360 architect and broader delivery team across both engagements. Manage test records and sample data in a production-focused environment. Support technical troubleshooting and ensure Marketing Cloud solutions are reliable and scalable. Must-Have Requirements: Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Engagement), particularly Contact Builder and Subscriber Key management. Strong experience with Journey Builder and Data Extension architecture. Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect and cross-cloud integrations. Experience with CloudPages and web forms, including front-end modifications. Scripting experience with AMPscript and/or SSJS. Ability to work independently in a technical production environment. Familiarity with test records and sample data management. Strong English communication skills. Nice to Have: Familiarity with Data 360 (Data Cloud) endpoints and integrations. Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI, and data privacy best practices. Experience with MobileConnect, SMS short/long codes, and TCPA compliance. Experience with Einstein Engagement Scoring. Experience syncing Marketing Cloud with Health Cloud. Salesforce Platform or Developer knowledge. Salesforce certifications such as Marketing Cloud Developer or Marketing Cloud Administrator. Compensation & Benefits: Compensation: $3,500–$4,500 USD/month Hours: ~15-35 hours/week, which may vary by project phase Working hours with overlap with U.S. Central Time; East Coast overlap is also helpful.
