Join our team as a Medical Billing Customer Service Representative and help patients navigate their billing questions with professionalism, patience, and care! This is a remote position for individuals living in the states of: Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Responsibilities: - Answer inbound calls regarding patient statements, insurance payments, and account balances. - Provide accurate information about patient accounts, billing history, and charges. - Process credit card payments over the phone. - Document call details, account inquiries, and actions taken. - Escalate complex billing disputes and concerns to the appropriate department. - Deliver friendly, professional service while handling sensitive billing questions. Qualifications: - 1 year of call center or customer service/office experience. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems. - Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills. - Ability to multitask and process information efficiently. - A calm, professional approach when handling challenging calls. - A patient-focused attitude and a commitment to quality customer service.
