Therapists will conduct virtual visits to treat personal injury cases. This position will also establish therapeutic techniques and coping mechanisms to improve health and outcomes. Active CA licensure: o Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) o Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) o Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) 5+ years mental health experience (personal injury/workers’ comp experience bonus) 3+ years post-licensure clinical experience Unrestricted, good standing and current CA licensure Education from an accredited psychology institution EMR proficient Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills Telehealth experience Duties/Responsibilities of a Medical-Legal Therapist: Conduct psychotherapy sessions for patients with personal injury cases. Assess and document patient history, injury-related symptoms, treatment progress, and clinical impressions in the EMR system. Establish individualized therapeutic treatment plans using appropriate interventions and coping strategies. Provide culturally sensitive, compassionate, and patient-centered care to diverse populations. Collaborate with medical-legal teams as needed to support patient outcomes related to personal injury claims.
