MOBILE ENGINEER
This is a remote position.
The Mobile Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform or native mobile applications. The role involves collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver performant, scalable, and intuitive mobile experiences. Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
- Build reusable, scalable, and high-performance mobile components.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services.
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive mobile interfaces.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize mobile app performance.
- Participate in code reviews and agile development processes.
- Ensure application quality through testing and continuous improvement.
- Support app deployment to app stores and manage release cycles.
- Stay updated with mobile development trends and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5-8 years of mobile development experience.
- Experience building production mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture and lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Agile development environments.
- Good problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in remote, cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills
- Mobile Frameworks: React Native, Flutter, or native Android (Kotlin/Java) / iOS (Swift)
- API Integration: RESTful APIs, JSON
- State Management: Redux, Provider, Bloc, or equivalent
- Version Control: Git / GitHub / GitLab
- Backend Integration: Basic understanding of backend systems
- Testing: Unit testing and mobile testing frameworks
- Tools: Android Studio, Xcode, VS Code
- Cloud: Amazon Web Services / Firebase (preferred)
