This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Nurse Practitioner looking for supplemental income through a flexible, low-volume telehealth arrangement. Our program focuses on routine sick visits and minor acute medical conditions. Patients request appointments based on preferred morning, afternoon, or evening availability rather than selecting rigid appointment times. The selected provider will have flexibility in coordinating patient appointments while maintaining mutually agreed coverage availability.

Compensation

Guaranteed $1,000 monthly availability retainer, contingent upon fulfillment of agreed coverage commitments. Additional $40 for each completed qualifying telehealth visit. Monthly compensation payments.

Responsibilities

Conduct virtual consultations for routine sick visits and nonemergency medical conditions. Evaluate patients, establish appropriate diagnoses, and recommend treatment plans. Prescribe clinically appropriate medications in accordance with applicable state law. Review relevant patient medical history and current symptoms. Document patient encounters in the designated electronic health record. Provide patient education and follow-up recommendations. Coordinate appointment availability with our scheduling team. Refer patients for in-person or emergency care when clinically indicated.

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Alabama. Family Nurse Practitioner certification or equivalent qualifications appropriate to the contracted scope of services. Current prescriptive authority. Recent experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, or similar clinical settings. Strong communication and clinical assessment skills. Comfortable using telehealth technology and electronic health records. Ability to provide flexible appointment availability, including some evenings and weekends. Professional liability coverage for the contracted services, or ability to obtain coverage before starting. Current supervising or collaborating physician relationship where legally required, or ability to establish one before providing services. Applicants are responsible for maintaining any required physician supervision or collaboration arrangements, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Why Join Us?
