Job Description:

Provide occupational therapy services to PreK-12 students in schools
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
Develop individualized treatment plans and goals with students, parents, and school staff
Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
Monitor and document student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed
Consult with teachers and school staff on strategies supporting classroom participation and success
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and functional needs
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' education plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required paperwork

Requirements:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
Must hold valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in the state in which you live and practice
Must be registered with the National Board Certification Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Passionate about working with K-12 students in a virtual setting
Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Computer skills, including email and Microsoft Teams
Experience in teletherapy
Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, Handwriting Without Tears, and other therapeutic modalities (preferred)
Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer keyboard and mouse
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Occasionally able to stand, walk, reach, and lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds
