Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Order Processing Specialist. This role is responsible for processing customer orders, verifying order details, updating order records, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring orders are handled accurately and efficiently. The Order Processing Specialist will support daily business operations by reviewing purchase orders, entering order information into company systems, monitoring order status, resolving discrepancies, and communicating with customers and relevant teams regarding order updates. COMPENSATION The salary range for this role is $58,000 - $75,000 per year , based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities

Process incoming customer orders accurately and efficiently Review purchase orders and verify product details, quantities, pricing, and shipping information Enter order information into order management systems and company databases Monitor order status and follow up on pending or delayed orders Coordinate with sales, warehouse, inventory, shipping, and customer service teams Identify and resolve order discrepancies, missing information, and processing errors Communicate order confirmations, status updates, and changes to relevant stakeholders Maintain accurate order records, invoices, and supporting documentation Assist with order cancellations, returns, exchanges, and adjustments Verify inventory availability and communicate potential fulfillment issues Ensure orders are processed according to company policies and established procedures Respond to internal inquiries regarding order status and processing requirements Track order fulfillment progress and report recurring issues Maintain confidentiality when handling customer and business information Recommend improvements to order processing workflows and documentation Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in order processing, data entry, customer service, or administration is an advantage Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Ability to learn order management systems, ERP platforms, and business software Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple orders and prioritize competing tasks Good problem-solving and recordkeeping abilities Ability to follow established procedures and meet deadlines Professional attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
