Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. - Manage and oversee timekeeping systems to ensure accurate tracking of employee hours. - Handle all payroll-related tax filings, including quarterly and annual returns. - Administer employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. - Generate and analyze payroll reports for management, accounting, and auditing purposes. - Address and resolve payroll-related queries or issues raised by employees. - Ensure proper classification of employees (e.g., exempt vs. non-exempt) in accordance with labor laws. - Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure they are up-to-date. - Assist in preparing for internal and external payroll audits. - Develop and update payroll policies and procedures. - Oversee the management of employee leave, including vacation, sick leave, and other absences. - Collaborate with the finance department to assist in budgeting and forecasting payroll expenses. - Continuously seek ways to improve payroll processes and increase efficiency. - Ensure the confidentiality and security of payroll information and employee data. - Manage relationships with payroll service providers and other third-party vendors.
• No previous payroll experience required; extensive training will be provided. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to manage confidential information with discretion. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is a plus. - Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations is a plus.
