As our Payroll Specialist, you'll help ensure more than 800 team members are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with payroll requirements. This is an in-office position located in Appleton, Wisconsin. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Import/manage the integration of the timekeeping system into UKG payroll. Set up wage assignments and garnishments. Serve as the in-house expert for UKG payroll and related systems. Direct deposit and pay card administration. Troubleshoot any issues with payroll integrations, including 401K and HSA. Provide data/prepare payroll information for cost-plus contracts. Coordination with human resources in establishing and maintaining earnings and deduction codes. Potentially other support functions within the Home Office. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Attention to detail. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal. Ability to communicate with employees, operational personnel, and third-party payment service. Solid computer skills, including working knowledge of spreadsheets and MS Office. Ability to work as part of a team toward shared objectives. PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting environment. Familiar with payroll requirements and time-sensitive work. Associate's Degree preferred. PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to use hands and fingers for computer keyboarding and answering phone calls.
