Role Overview: Inspect, test, and operate building machinery and equipment to ensure everything runs safely and efficiently. Maintain, repair, replace, and install parts of the physical plant equipment. Maintains all documents for routine maintenance, service requests and inventory per department policies. Provide courteous, professional customer service when responding to requests and inquiries. Maintain a clean, orderly, and secure workspace while properly caring for tools and equipment. Ensure the safety of employees and visitors by protecting MSKCC buildings, assets, and premises. Adhere to safety and infection control standards set by institutional and regulatory bodies. FDNY Q-01 Refrigerating System Operating Engineer certification required.
