Platform EngineerLocation: Remote Experience: 10 Years Contract W2 (Strictly) Must-Have Requirements: Strong experience as a Platform Engineer with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Hands-on experience with GCP or Alibaba Cloud. Mandatory experience migrating existing cloud infrastructure/resources into Terraform (IaC). Strong experience with Terraform, Crossplane, and Helm Charts. AWS and Azure experience are not required. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage IaC solutions using Terraform, Crossplane, and Helm Charts. Manage Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or ArgoCD. Automate infrastructure and platform operations using Go, Python, or Bash. Optimize platform performance, reliability, scalability, and cost. Design zero-downtime maintenance strategies for Kubernetes clusters. Integrate security best practices into platform infrastructure. Explore AI tools and agentic workflows to automate processes and eliminate manual effort. Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams; mentor junior engineers. Participate in a 12-hour on-call rotation. Additional Requirements: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Important: Candidates must have strong Platform Engineering + Terraform/IaC + cloud-to-Terraform migration experience, along with GCP or Alibaba Cloud. AWS/Azure-only profiles are not suitable.
