About the job We are seeking a Product Filing & Compliance Specialist to support insurance product filing and compliance operations, with a focus on Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) and annuity products. This role will be responsible for preparing and managing regulatory filings, tracking approvals and deadlines, and coordinating with Compliance, Legal, Actuarial, and business teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions.

Responsibilities

Prepare, submit, and track insurance product filings through SERFF, the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Compact, and state regulatory portals. Coordinate filing packages for PRT and annuity products, including contracts, certificates, amendments, and supporting documentation. Review filings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Monitor regulatory correspondence, objections, approvals, and filing deadlines. Coordinate responses with Legal, Actuarial, Compliance, and business stakeholders. Maintain filing records, approval documentation, status trackers, and regulatory submission logs. Support filing withdrawals, amendments, renewals, and related compliance activities. Provide backup support for product filing and compliance operations as needed. Required Skills Experience with insurance product filings and regulatory compliance. Experience supporting life insurance and annuity products. Hands-on experience with SERFF, including filing preparation, submission, tracking, and regulator responses. Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and regulatory requirements simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic document management systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Preferred Skills Experience supporting Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) products. Experience with group annuity contracts and certificate filings. FLMI, AIRC, or other insurance industry designations. Experience working with state insurance regulators and compliance teams.
