About the Role

We’re looking for a curious, resourceful, technically minded Product Intelligence Research Analyst who loves figuring out how things work. You’ll investigate mobile apps, connect technical evidence with product observations, and translate findings into valuable intelligence. This is a hands-on investigation role, not traditional desk-based market research. You don't need to be a software engineer, but should be comfortable learning and using technical tools. What You’ll Do Investigate Android and iOS apps for new features, experiments, and upcoming launches. Analyze APK changes, strings, feature flags, and other technical signals. Combine app observations, technical evidence, and external research to validate hypotheses. Work through access restrictions, geography constraints, and difficult debugging problems responsibly. Identify new research opportunities and improve investigation methods. Explain why discoveries matter for competitors’ product, growth, monetization, and strategy. What We’re Looking For Strong curiosity, persistence, and creative problem-solving. Comfort with developer tools, basic scripting, debugging, and learning unfamiliar technologies. Analytical thinking: distinguish facts, hypotheses, and alternative explanations. Product intuition and ability to turn observations into business insights. Independence, ownership, and clear written English.

Nice to Have

Experience in software QA, technical support, app testing, or technical research. Android/iOS investigation; ADB, Logcat, APK analysis, API inspection, or network debugging. Python, JavaScript, Bash, SQL, or similar scripting experience. Knowledge of A/B testing, feature flags, or mobile experimentation. Experience using AI coding tools to accelerate technical research.
