Program Auditor Department: Audit Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Remote - US Compensation: $85,000 - $93,000 / year Description Responsible for the timely execution of risk-based underwriting, claims, and compliance audits in accordance with the annual audit plan and company regulations as well as assisting with other audit matters and projects.

Key Responsibilities

Determine/review scope of audit in conjunction with audit manager. Conduct audit testing of assigned program in established/required timeline to determine program compliance with company policies, procedures, claims and underwriting guidelines. Document and communicate findings to audit manager, complete audit checklist(s), and draft comprehensive and complete report of audit findings. Engage with other departments as necessary regarding audit findings. Stay abreast of underwriting guidelines and regulations as well as claim trends and develop recommendations for audit program as needed. Skills & Experience Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, SharePoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong ethical standards and an ability to act with integrity and objective judgment Thorough knowledge of regulations and compliance guidelines Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to evaluate risk and maintain confidentiality Ability to think critically and analytically, solve problems, and plan and organize activities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively under strict deadlines Ability to work independently and collaboratively Ability to travel domestically approximately 10% annually Experience & Education 3-5 years financial experience through accounting/auditing preferred or underwriting and/or claims experience required Bachelor’s degree in related field
