[Remote] Account Manager - Central US - Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Danfoss is hiring an Account Manager for its Fluid Conveyance Distribution Sales team. The role focuses on growing distribution sales, advising partners and their customers on fluid conveyance solutions, managing strategic accounts, and sharing market intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Drive profitable sales growth by identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships with our distribution partners throughout your territory
- Act as a trusted advisor to distributors and their customers, understanding their technical needs and delivering high-value fluid conveyance solutions
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for your assigned accounts, ensuring we meet and exceed our ambitious growth targets
- Lead impactful quarterly business reviews with key partners to align strategy, review performance, and plan for future success
- Serve as the expert on your market, gathering and communicating key intelligence to keep Danfoss ahead of the curve
Skills
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within hydraulics, fluid power, or a related industrial field
- A Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience demonstrating strong technical and commercial skills
- Proven success in managing accounts and building relationships, ideally within a distribution channel sales model
- Excellent communication skills and the technical aptitude to understand and sell complex system solutions
- Experience using a CRM system to manage your sales pipeline and market activity is a strong plus
