Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances
• Follow up on overdue invoices and resolve payment discrepancies
• Review and maintain customer aging reports on a weekly basis
• Investigate and resolve customer disputes related to invoices, payments, and account balances
• Process and post customer payments received via ACH, check, credit card, wire transfer, and other payment methods
• Prepare and process bank deposits
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, chargebacks, and returned payments
• Process customer refunds as needed
• Perform account reconciliations and research variances
• Analyze large volumes of financial data and identify discrepancies
• Generate and maintain ad hoc Accounts Receivable reports for management
• Assist with month-end AR close activities and related reconciliations
• Process credit applications and perform customer credit verifications
• Maintain accurate customer account records and supporting documentation
• Partner with internal teams to resolve billing and payment-related issues

Skills

• Minimum of one year of Accounts Receivable experience
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations
• Intermediate reputed company Excel skills, including working with large data sets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to research issues, identify solutions, and resolve discrepancies independently
• reputed company understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits

• Experience managing customer aging reports and collections activities
