The Oklahoma Department of Human Services is hiring an Administrative Technician III to support customers with inquiries and issues related to SNAP and Childcare Electronic Benefit Cards. The role also provides call triage, customer service, and backup administrative support while maintaining compliance with Adult and Family Services processes and policies.

Responsibilities

• This position is a full-time virtual setting
• Answer incoming calls to assist customers with inquiries; answering general questions, entering and retrieving client information as needed
• Answer incoming phone calls to assist customers with questions, inquiries, and trouble-shooting issues pertaining to Electronic Benefit Card (EBT) for SNAP and Childcare
• Ability to triage calls and transfer to appropriate program area as needed
• Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external, ensuring that inquiries  and concerns are handled professionally and in a timely manner
• Demonstrate the ability to handle difficult situations with respect and courtesy
• Participate in individual and staff conferences
• Must attend all mandatory trainings associated with the position
• Have the ability to multi-task, write, present, and interpret information in a clear, concise, and organized manner
• Maintain compliance with Adult and Family Services business processes, policies, and standards
• Performing various backup duties as required

Skills

• Requirements at this level consist of 24 months of clerical office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Preference may be given to applicants who are bilingual
