General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. is hiring an Advanced Customer Support Technician to support users with inquiries and work requests involving personal computers and related systems. The role diagnoses technical problems, responds to questions about hardware, software, printers, networks and telecommunications, and may prepare incident reports and assist with technology evaluations.

Responsibilities

• With the ability to influence others while demonstrating superior communication and collaboration skills, the Advanced Customer Support Technician will screen, refer and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to the maintenance of personal computers and related systems
• You may prepare help desk incident reports and assist in hardware and software evaluation
• You’ll also respond to and diagnose problems and answer queries regarding computer hardware, software, printers, network and telecommunications systems
• These requests may be internal and external client-focused for company-hosted web-enabled solutions

Skills

• Associate degree is required or equivalent relevant experience, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to provide training and technical assistance to users
