PURE Insurance is a member-owned property and casualty insurer serving financially successful families with service-focused insurance solutions. The Associate Data Analyst will support data modernization efforts by completing analyses, developing reliable datasets, writing SQL, contributing to dbt tasks, and producing documented reports and dashboards for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned analytical tasks and deliver accurate, actionable insights within established timelines and due dates
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Sales, Product, and Claims, to understand business questions, data needs, and expected deliverables
• Write SQL and contribute to dbt tasks, including model updates, testing, and documentation
• Support the timely execution of regulatory data calls and statistical reporting, including monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc requests
• Perform exploratory analysis to identify patterns, answer business questions, and support decision-making
• Document data definitions, processes, and findings to promote transparency, consistency, and reproducibility
• Build and deliver reports, dashboards, and other analytical outputs using Python and BI tools such as Hex

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Clear communicator with a willingness to learn and collaborate
• Curiosity, initiative, and a passion for working with data
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, SQL and data visualization tools (coursework or internship experience is a plus)
