Remote · Spain Full-time

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. S&P Global Ratings is hiring an Associate Director/Director for its Content Innovation & Visualization team. The role leads cross-functional initiatives that turn complex business needs and information into practical, scalable solutions using data, technology, AI, visualization, and storytelling, from early concept through adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition and requirements gathering through solution development, implementation, and adoption — managing priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations across concurrent workstreams
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with analytical teams, business leaders, technology and product partners, and other key stakeholders across S&P Global Ratings; facilitate conversations that clarify problems, challenge assumptions, and align stakeholders around practical solutions
  • Determine the right approach for each business challenge — whether through data analysis, visualization, AI, process improvement, storytelling, or a combination — and identify opportunities to use data, analytics, automation, and AI to improve decision-making, productivity, and user experiences
  • Work directly with data, AI tools, and analytical technologies to explore ideas, test assumptions, and develop early-stage prototypes; partner with technical specialists to move viable concepts from experimentation to scalable solutions
  • Translate complex research, data, and business information into clear, actionable narratives; develop and guide executive presentations, dashboards, interactive content, and other stakeholder-facing materials, presenting findings and recommendations confidently to senior audiences
  • Evaluate emerging tools based on practical value, accuracy, and alignment with data and technology controls; contribute to repeatable approaches, standards, and best practices that strengthen the team's ability to deliver consistently and scale across the organization

Skills

  • An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 10 or more years of relevant experience in project or program management, financial services, credit, research, analytics, business intelligence, technology, digital product development, consulting, or a related field
  • Individual with less years of experience could be considered at Associate Director level
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders, evolving priorities, and concurrent workstreams, with strong stakeholder management skills including experience engaging senior leaders and technical teams
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured projects, clear requirements, and practical solutions, with a strong analytical orientation and comfort working with data, metrics, and evidence to support decisions
  • Excellent written, verbal, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and compellingly to diverse audiences
  • Technical curiosity and the willingness to learn, test, and directly experiment with new tools and approaches, with the ability to balance strategic thinking, project leadership, and hands-on contribution in a dynamic environment, underpinned by strong judgment and attention to quality
  • This role is limited to persons with an indefinite right to work in the United States
  • Experience in credit ratings, credit markets, financial services, research, or another analytically driven environment
  • Familiarity with how research, data, and analytical content are developed and used by internal or external audiences
  • Experience applying generative AI, automation, or AI-enabled workflows to business problems, including prototyping data, analytics, visualization, or AI-enabled solutions
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, APIs, Power BI, or similar analytical or data visualization technologies
  • Experience developing dashboards, interactive content, analytical products, executive presentations, or digital communication experiences
  • Familiarity with data governance, responsible AI, or technology controls in a regulated or reputation-sensitive environment
  • Experience working across global, distributed, or multidisciplinary teams
