An unnamed mortgage asset management firm specializing in purchasing residential mortgages in the secondary market is hiring a Sales Associate. The role expands its Non-QM Correspondent business by building originator relationships, leading sales from sourcing to close, and supporting the acquisition strategy with financial and pipeline analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with mortgage originators that could be a fit for the firm’s Non-QM Correspondent Channel
• Lead the sales process from sourcing to close of new business
• Leverage previous relationships in order to expand the firm’s acquisition strategy for Non-QM whole loans
• Work through financial statements, lender documentation, and ad hoc reports, and share pipeline data with leadership

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in sales for Non-Agency lending (Non-QM)
• Strong experience in working with non-delegated correspondents
• Experience in mortgage wholesale, capital markets, business development, product development, or similar areas in secondary market mortgage finance
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and senior stakeholders/clientele
