Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Principal Financial Group is a financial services company that provides financial tools and solutions to customers. The Client Relationship Consultant will manage an assigned block of in-force group benefits business, partner with Sales and broker partners, deliver relationship and renewal strategies, provide exceptional service, and sell new lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Delivering upon a strategic relationship plan that includes quarterly/annual goals
• Providing expert renewal analysis & delivery
• Delivering outstanding service and selling new lines of business

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 4+ years related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience preferred)
• Must be able to acquire and maintain all required state licenses within 90 days
• Must have excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills
• Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc
• Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
• Travel required (approx. 25%), including overnight stays and time out in the market in face-to-face contact with customers and brokers

• Active life/health license preferred
• Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications preferred
