Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RIT Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Cloud System Administrator for an onsite or remote role in Irvine, California. The position manages AWS-hosted environments, supports Jenkins-based application deployments and platform operations, and helps improve infrastructure stability, security, monitoring, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage EC2-based environments (DEV, QA, STG, PRD)
• Configure and maintain security groups, IAM roles, instance profiles
• Support ALB, Route53, S3 integrations
• Monitor instance health and system performance
• Assist with patching and OS hardening
• Support migration stabilization (post lift-and-shift)
• Maintain and enhance Jenkins pipelines
• Support build and deployment automation
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures
• Manage environment configuration for releases
• Improve deployment reliability and rollback procedures
• Manage SSL generation, installation, and renewals
• Maintain certificate chain and intermediate validation
• Automate SSL review and expiration monitoring
• Improve certificate management process in AWS
• Support AEM deployments and troubleshooting
• Support IIS/.NET application deployments
• Maintain Solr configuration and health
• Monitor logs and resolve infrastructure-related issues
• Identify opportunities to automate manual operational tasks
• Improve monitoring and alerting processes
• Support documentation and runbooks
• Contribute to long-term cloud optimization strategy

Skills

• * Has prior on-premise system administration experience
• * Has transitioned to AWS infrastructure support
• * Understands CI/CD and deployment operations
• * Is comfortable operating in a hybrid DevOps/System Admin role
• * Can help gradually move toward more automation and cloud-native best
• Strong experience with AWS (EC2-centric environments)
• Experience supporting lift-and-shift cloud migrations
• Hands-on Jenkins pipeline administration
• Windows Server and/or Linux administration experience
• Experience managing SSL certificates in enterprise environments
• Experience with IIS, AEM, and application deployments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and application layers
• Familiarity with basic infrastructure automation (Terraform or scripting preferred)
