About the Opportunity: The REMOTE CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST is responsible for delivering empathetic and professional support to customers primarily through phone interactions. This role contributes to the organization by assisting customers in selecting storage units, managing reservations and inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience during transitional life events. The position is critical for maintaining high customer satisfaction and smooth communication, supporting the organization's mission to provide human-centered service. Responsibilities: Answer incoming phone calls courteously and professionally Assist customers in choosing appropriate storage unit sizes Follow up on reservations, leads, and emails promptly Provide exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism Log customer interactions accurately in the CRM system Resolve or escalate customer issues appropriately Communicate clear and accurate information to customers Participate in training, coaching, and team meetings Meet or exceed customer satisfaction, response time, and call quality standards Handle high call volumes effectively during peak periods Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards Requirements: Strong customer service and communication skills Positive, professional, and empathetic attitude Ability to multitask between calls, emails, and CRM systems Self-motivated with the ability to work independently remotely Strong time management and organizational abilities Basic computer literacy and quick learning capacity for new systems Fast and reliable internet connection Computer requirements: 64bit Windows 10+ or MacOS 10.14+, minimum 8GB RAM, Intel i5 dual-core processor or equivalent; Linux or Chromebook not supported Dedicated, quiet workspace suitable for professional calls Dual monitors required Ability to pass a background check prior to hire Legal authorization to work in the United States Pay Range and Compensation Package: The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
