CFGI is a dynamic financial consulting firm that partners with CFOs and their organizations on accounting, financial reporting, transactions, compliance, digital transformation, and data analytics. The Manager will lead data analytics, automation, and business transformation engagements, oversee delivery, develop data-driven solutions, and mentor Consultants while advising senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analytics, automation, and business transformation engagements across a variety of industries
• Manage the design, development, and implementation of dashboards, reports, analytics solutions, and workflow automation initiatives
• Lead the transformation, validation, and analysis of financial, accounting, operational, and transactional datasets to deliver actionable insights that improve business performance, reporting quality, and executive decision-making
• Partner with CFOs, Controllers, FP&A leaders, business executives, and technology stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable data, reporting, automation, and analytics solutions
• Manage cross-functional projects involving finance, accounting, FP&A, operational reporting, technology implementations, and business transformation initiatives
• Develop and review executive-ready analyses, dashboards, presentations, and reporting packages that help finance and business leaders make informed strategic and operational decisions
• Lead process improvement initiatives and implementation of analytics, automation, and reporting solutions
• Mentor Consultants by providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
• Participate in proposal development, client relationship management, and business development initiatives

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, business transformation, finance transformation, data engineering, analytics consulting, and/or technology consulting
• Experience leading finance and accounting data analytics, automation, reporting, or business intelligence initiatives that support financial planning, controllership, operational finance, business performance management, or executive decision-making
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and delivering data-driven business solutions for internal or external stakeholders
• Experience interpreting accounting, finance, and operational processes and translating business requirements into data models, analytics solutions, dashboarding strategies, automation workflows, and technology roadmaps
• Experience leading analytics solutions using one or more business intelligence platforms, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
• Experience leading workflow automation, ETL, or process automation initiatives using Alteryx, Power Automate, or similar technologies
• Experience programming with Python, SQL, R, or other analytics-focused programming languages to develop scalable business solutions
• Experience working with relational databases, cloud data platforms, data engineering, data modeling, or solution architecture technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, or similar platforms
• Experience partnering with finance, accounting, FP&A, and operational leaders to improve reporting, automate key processes, establish trusted data foundations, and enable data-driven decision-making
• Experience leading project teams, mentoring junior professionals, and serving as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across client and engagement teams
• Proactive in identifying client needs and developing trusted client relationships
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving abilities

• High energy with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service while mentoring and developing junior team members
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• CPA or other relevant professional certification
• Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or advanced analytics solutions
• Experience managing enterprise reporting environments, digital transformation initiatives, or large-scale data modernization projects
