GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and support Azure-based data engineering and integration solutions. The role focuses on building ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Python, and SQL, while optimizing data workloads and collaborating with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
• Experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Proficient in Python programming and scripting
• Strong SQL development experience with MS SQL Server (preferred)
• Experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT solutions
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data processing workloads
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using JIRA
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including source code management, branching strategies, and code check-ins
• Experience working with ServiceNow for incident, change, and service management processes
• Knowledge of CI/CD implementation for data engineering projects
• Exposure to cloud-native data architecture and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and within distributed teams
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Skills
