The role involves designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Microsoft Azure, PySpark, Spark, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake, and related data engineering technologies.

Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data engineering solutions
• Strong proficiency in PySpark, Apache Spark, Spark SQL, and Python
• Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Strong experience with Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data pipelines
• Experience with Databricks Jobs, Workflows, clusters, notebooks, and performance optimization
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of Azure security, governance, and access controls
• US Citizens
• Expert-level expertise preferred
• Databricks Certification is a strong plus; certified candidates will be given first preference
