Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hatch Pros is seeking a Data Engineer with extensive experience in building data pipelines. The role involves developing ELT processes and utilizing various tools and technologies to create robust data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build from scratch not inheriting current pipelines
• Develop productive ELT processes
• Build multi-step ELT jobs
• Build robust data pipelines through tools like Azure Data Factory from scratch
• Proficient with Python and PL/SQL scripts
• Deep knowledge of SQL tuning and optimization
• Extensive SQL database & Mongo/Cosmos database knowledge
• VBA Scripting Experience building data reporting and dashboarding in Excel
• Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks experience preferred
• AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) experience
• ETL related to applications containerized & deployed on AKS (or EKS)

Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with proven tracked record of developing productive ELT processes
• Experience in building multi-step ELT jobs, building robust data pipelines through tools like Azure Data Factory from scratch
• Proficient with Python and PL/SQL scripts; deep knowledge of SQL tuning and optimization
• Extensive SQL database & Mongo/Cosmos database knowledge
• VBA Scripting Experience building data reporting and dashboarding in Excel
• AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) experience, and ETL related to applications containerized & deployed on AKS (or EKS)
