Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Network Designs, Inc. (NDi) is building a talent pipeline for anticipated contract opportunities supporting enterprise data modernization and analytics initiatives. The roles will design and maintain data pipelines and databases, develop BI and analytics products, and support data quality, governance, and platform modernization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and transformation processes
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, data models, and database objects
• Support relational database administration, performance, availability, backup, and recovery
• Integrate data from legacy and modern applications and platforms
• Develop dashboards, reports, semantic models, and analytical data products
• Support data quality, validation, lineage, metadata, and governance activities
• Identify and resolve data quality, performance, and integration issues
• Support migration and modernization of legacy databases and data platforms
• Work with software, cloud, analytics, and business teams to improve enterprise access to trusted data

Skills

• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, database development/administration, BI development, or a closely related field
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with relational database platforms such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or comparable technologies
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data integration, reporting, BI, database administration, or data engineering
• Understanding of data quality and data-management practices
• Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent analytics/visualization platforms
• Cloud-native data platforms and services
• Python or other data-processing languages
• Experience modernizing legacy data platforms
• Experience with data governance, cataloging, lineage, or metadata management
